Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies (Enhanced Betty Crocker Recipe)

OMG, these are crazy-delicious!

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 1/4 cups King Arthur (all purpose) flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 (12 oz) bag chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups mint chips or crushed Andes mints
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine sugars and butter

  3. Add egg

  4. Add additional ingredients and combine until blended (we like using the paddle attachment on the mixer for this part)!

  5. Roll dough into 1-2 inch balls and place on parchment paper-lined or greased cookie sheet

  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes.  Do not over bake as these are best when they are a little soft on the inside.
