Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cream of tartar
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Combine sugar and butter

  3. Add egg

  4. Add the remaining four ingredients and combine

  5. Chill for 30 minutes

  6. Combine the cinnamon and sugar coating in a small bowl and set aside

  7. Roll dough into 1 inch balls 

  8. Roll the dough balls into the cinnamon and sugar, and place on greased or parchment paper-covered cookie sheet.

  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly brown
