Last week I was asked to bake a key lime pie for a friend’s birthday celebration. Up until that point, I had never baked a key lime pie, so it was really important to me to whip up the perfect recipe for this special occasion!
If you’re like me, key lime pie can be like an oasis in a dish if done well. In my opinion, the “key” (hardy har) with key lime pie is that it isn’t too tart. After sampling recipes and making tweaks here and there, I finally perfected what I would consider to be the very best key lime pie recipe possible. This pie is super easy to prepare, has only a few ingredients, and will whisk you away with flavor!
